• The 2.4GHz local area network with a gateway hub allows an added layer of security, as it doesn’t allow any direct connection to the WIFI network.
• The hub will allow multiple charge points to connect to the gateway while only utilizing 1 connection on the WIFI network.
• Having the charge points connected to the gateway means that if you change internet service provider, you don’t have to completely recommission the system.
• Future upgradability (such as WIFI 6) only means a new gateway design. This means that the charge point bolted to the wall shouldn’t need to be replaced if a change in standard is implemented in the future.
• The gateway’s boost button allows for quick control without having to use the app. It allows for instant charge to the car, overriding any scheduling set by the app.
