CONDITIONS OF SALE:
SUPPLY & USE:
Goods are intended for use in the United Kingdom and HW Electric & Supply make no warranties express or implied that their use is suitable in other countries or comply with any laws, regulations or standards of any jurisdiction outside the United Kingdom. Any goods intended for use in other countries must be certified as safe and suitable for the purpose they are intended for by a competent technician. Electric storage heaters operate on separate wiring circuits (restricted hours circuits) to normal daytime wiring. A storage heater cannot be plugged into an electrical socket outlet. All storage heaters are supplied with fitting instructions and it is important that a competant person undertakes the installation. It is the sole responsibility of the installer to connect the storage heater to a suitable restricted hours supply. If you are in any way unsure of any part of the installation procedure or the suitability or safety of the restricted hours wiring you intend to connect to you must seek the advice of a qualified electrical engineer. HW Electric & Supply and its proprietors will not be liable for claims for loss or damages to persons or property directly or indirectly.
Note: only a qualified electrical engineer is allowed to make an alteration/repair to your restricted hours wiring circuits.
DELIVERY:
We will always do our utmost to deliver goods on the agreed day and/or time. It is in our interest to strictly adhere to agreed arrangements for delivery as we can earn sales from recommendations for prompt service. In the unlikely event that goods are not delivered on the day and/or time that has been arranged between us, HW Electric & Supply will not be liable for any claims of compensation for loss's incurred by you as a result of goods not being delivered on the arranged day and/or time. This is applicable to all delivery services arranged and instructed by HW Electric & Supply direct or indirect to deliver goods on our behalf. Please note: You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery if any items are damaged or missing. No claims for damaged or missing items can be entered into after this time.
FREE DELIVERY:

Some brands are listed FREE DELIVERY TO SELECTED AREAS. Click on Collection & Delivery... link by your preferred make and model of heater to see if free delivery is available to your area or call 01384 297452 we will be only too pleased to advise you.

Free Delivery is a "Kerbside" delivery. The driver will get as close as he can to your property & unload the heaters. He is under no obligation to carry any items up or down inclines or steps & it is your responsibility to carry into your property. Delivery drivers will normally unload heaters into a ground floor destination if requested.
A day for delivery can be nominated but not a time. You will have to be at home between 8am - 5.30pm to accept delivery. You must be available by telephone during this time. The delivery driver will not leave your heater(s) unless you are there to sign for them.
You must unpack and check your heater(s) as soon as possible. You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery if any items are damaged or missing. No claims for damaged or missing items can be entered into after this time.

NOTE: Delivery of Dimplex 4+ storage heaters are delivered free to most areas of the UK mainland. However, some Scottish postcodes are chargable. Please contact our customer service team for details.

COURIER DELIVERY:
Unless otherwise stated delivery is by courier. You have the option of a next day courier delivery (we will dispatch the day prior), you can nominate an AM or PM delivery for an extra £15 inc. vat. Unless you have reserved an AM or PM delivery your heater(s) will be delivered to the destination address between 8am - 5.30pm. A more competitively priced Economy 2-3 day delivery is also available (heater(s) delivered within 3 days of dispatch from our warehouse). The courier will contact you to notify which day they intend to deliver. Please note we are unable to alter the status of a delivery once it has left our warehouse. The courier service cannot nominate a time for your delivery and you must be available to receive your consignment between the times stated on the day of delivery.

Delivery by courier is a “Kerbside” delivery. The heater(s) & bricks are packed on a pallet & the driver will get as close as he can to your property & unload the pallet onto the ground. He is under no obligation to carry any items up or down inclines or steps & it is your responsibility to remove the items from the pallet & carry them into your property.

It is important to unpack & check your heater(s) as soon as possible. You must inform us within 24 hours of delivery if any items are damaged or missing. No claims for damaged or missing items can be entered into after this time.

TIMED DELIVERY:
Timed and Weekend delivery (England & Wales only - area dependent) is sometimes available mainly between September to March (other times may be available) on our own transport. A day and time can be arranged for your delivery so you don't have to hang around waiting. The driver will unload and carry all items into a ground floor address. In certain cases it may be possible to unload and carry into a non-ground floor address. Delivery days and times are solely dependent on the logisitical destination of our vehicles. (1.1) 7 Days Money Back Guarantee:
Most items are backed by our 7 days no quibble money back guarantee. Just call us within 7 days of delivery with your reason and request for a refund, your name, invoice number, product details and contact telephone number. Send your item back for refund (we do not cover carriage costs in any way). We will then check your item upon arrival and make a refund within approximately 7 working days. The goods must he returned to us in perfect condition as delivered, unused and uninstalled with the original undamaged packaging. You should not write anything on the product packaging as the product will not be in a saleable condition and you will not be refunded. If you are returning the goods it is recommended that you take out insurance against damage or if the goods go missing. Please ensure you wrap the parcel up in an outer box, this way the display or original box will not get damaged. Items returned that are unsuitable for resale cannot be accepted for a refund. PLEASE NOTE: Non Stock items that have to be specially ordered are not returnable for refund or exchange.

Just call us within 30 days of delivery with your reason and request for an exchange, your name, invoice number, product detail, contact telephone number and details of your preferred heater. We will advise you of the availability of your newly chosen item, cost of redelivery, price difference and ways you can pay. Send your item back for exchange (we do not cover carriage costs in any way). We will then check your item upon arrival then resend your preferred item to you within approximately 7 working days. The goods must he returned to us in perfect condition as delivered, unused and uninstalled with the original undamaged packaging. You should not write anything on the product packaging as the product will not be in a saleable condition and you will not be refunded.

If you wish to return any item after 7 days and within 30 days of delivery and don’t require an exchange product but would prefer a refund you will be charged a handling and administration charge of 10% for heating products and 20% for spare parts. We are unable to exchange or make a refund for any item sold after 30 days of delivery.

(1.3) Minimum 12 months On Site Product Guarantee (unless stated longer) which is Administered by the Manufacturer:
In the unlikely event that a fault does occur the manufacturer offers a full on site parts and labour guarantee as heating appliances are an “installed” product and not suitable for return to repair. Guarantee information is supplied with each heating appliance. Only the companies authorised repairers are able to make repairs to a product in guarantee and the guarantee will become void if any persons not authorised by the company attempt to make a repair. PLEASE NOTE: The guarantee is not valid for orders delivered outside the UK.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY:

Your personal details and security could not be safer. Card details are held securely up to the point of processing and then destroyed so you can feel 100% guaranteed safe and secure. All major credit card providers protect their customers well against fraudulent use of their cards, should your card details be stolen, used, all monies are always returned in cases of theft if using a credit card, so again you are guaranteed 100% safe and secure. If you are still unsure about using your card details, you can always send a cheque or bankers draft.
FORCE MAJEURE:
THE SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO DELIVER GOODS ARISING FROM CIRCUMSTANCES OUTSIDE THE SELLERS CONTROL. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AN ACT OF GOD, WAR, RIOTS, STRIKES, AND TRADE DISPUTES (INCLUDING BY AND WITH THE SELLERS OWN EMPLOYEES) LOCK OUTS, FIRES BREAKDOWNS, MECHANICAL FAILURE, DISRUPTION OF ENERGY SUPPLIES, INTERUPTION OF TRANSPORT, GOVERNMENT ACTION OR ANY OTHER CAUSE WHATSOEVER OUTSIDE THE SELLERS CONTROL, WHICH AFFECTS SELLERS BUSINESS, WHETHER OR NOT OF LIKE NATURE OF THOSE SPECIFIED ABOVE. IF THE CIRCUMSTANCES PREVENTING DELIVERY ARE STILL CONTINUING ONE MONTH AFTER THE BUYER RECEIVES THE SELLERS NOTICE, THEN EITHER PARTY MAY BY WRITTEN NOTICE CANCEL THE CONTRACT IN WHICH EVENT THE SELLER WILL REFUND ANY PAYMENT MADE ON ACCOUNT (SUBJECT TO DEDUCTION OF ANY AMOUNT THE SELLER IS ENTITLED TO CLAIM FROM THE BUYER) BUT WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO COMPENSATE THE BUYER FOR ANY FURTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE FAILURE TO DELIVER.
